Scottish Government Grants for 16 Historic Buildings

Castle Leod - awarded £219.618 grant
The Scottish government has given grants totalling more than £4M to repair 16 historic buildings.
Amongst the lucky recipients is Castle Leod, Strathpeffer, Highland Region which was awarded £219,618.
Castle Leod is a 15-17th century L-plan tower house with Victorian and Edwardian additions, still in good condition and occupied.
The large amount of £500,00 went to St Peter's Seminary, Cardross while the bandstand at Kelvingrove, Glasgow was in receipt of £245,000.
Historic Scotland stated that they are 'investing in Scotland's future'.
