The Scottish government has given grants totalling more than £4M to repair 16 historic buildings.

Amongst the lucky recipients is Castle Leod, Strathpeffer, Highland Region which was awarded £219,618.

Castle Leod is a 15-17th century L-plan tower house with Victorian and Edwardian additions, still in good condition and occupied.
