SCA Castle Tour To Borders - Sept 2015

Some 40 or so members of the Scottish Castles Association assembled at Dryburgh Abbey, Roxburgh, for two days of castle sightseeing in the historic Scottish Borders.

Organised by member John Hunter, this tour also took in field monuments which involved some strenuous walking!

The full story of our weekend will be written up in the members’ magazine The Journal but, until then, as a tantalising teaser, here is a quick pictorial preview of some of the sites we saw:
