The practice’s portfolio includes work on fortified buildings, such as The Highlanders' Museum at Fort George and currently Castle Craig on the Black Isle. Prior to establishing McGregor Bowes, Chris was an associate at Campbell and Arnott where he was the architect managing projects in some of Scotland’s most important landmarks including St Giles’ Cathedral and Edinburgh Castle. Each commission is worked on personally by Chris who brings over 20 years’ experience of working on historic buildings, and his commitment to conserving architecture and design quality to each project.
